I am an RN Supervisor, and while I was working, I had a woman call the facility I was at during this pandemic.

She asked if she and her husband could walk their dogs around the facility to show the residents. I said sure, it couldn’t hurt.

I went and opened all the residents’ curtains and when the couple came with their dogs. They came with posters of love and happiness and thankfulness and went up to the windows of the residents.

This small act of kindness made all the difference in the residents’ lives that day, and I am sure it will be one of their fondest memories of this pandemic.
